𧱠Crowding
Not enough room, so teeth overlap or twist. Crowded teeth trap plaque and are harder to keep healthy.

Crooked, crowded or gapped teeth, or a bite that doesn’t meet properly, can affect chewing, cleaning and confidence. Orthodontic treatment moves teeth gradually into a healthier position, for teenagers and adults alike.
Typical ranges. Mild crowding can be quicker, while complex bite problems can take longer.
“He explained the procedure clearly and treated me with great care.”
“Visiting Dr. Farooq since I was 5, never felt the need to switch.”
“You can boldly visit the clinic as the treatment is painless.”

Straighter teeth are easier to clean, wear more evenly and put less strain on the jaw.

Spaces between teeth, often at the front. They can sometimes be closed with braces alone.
Upper front teeth sit too far over or in front of the lower ones, which can make them more prone to injury.
Lower teeth sit in front of the upper teeth when you bite together.
Some upper teeth sit inside the lower ones, which can wear teeth unevenly or shift the jaw.
Front teeth don’t meet when the back teeth are together, which makes biting into food difficult.

Which approach suits you depends on your teeth, your bite and your lifestyle. At your assessment, Dr. Farooq will explain which options fit your case and why.
Small brackets bonded to the teeth with a wire that is adjusted over time. Strong, reliable and suited to most problems, including complex ones.
Work the same way as metal braces, with brackets that blend in with the teeth. Popular with adults.
A series of removable, nearly invisible trays, each moving the teeth a little. Best for mild to moderate problems, and they only work if worn for most of the day.
Fixed wires or removable retainers that hold teeth in their new position after treatment. Without them, teeth tend to drift back.
An examination, X-rays and photographs show how the teeth and jaws relate, and whether any teeth need treatment first.
We explain what can be corrected, the options that suit you, how long it should take, and a clear quote.
Braces are bonded in one visit, or your first set of aligners is fitted. Teeth may feel sore for a few days.
Visits every 4–6 weeks to adjust the wires or move to the next aligners, and check that your teeth and gums are healthy.
Once your teeth are in position, the braces are removed and the teeth are polished.
Retainers keep the result. Wearing them as advised is what makes straight teeth stay straight.
Orthodontic treatment runs for months, so continuity matters. At Zenith your braces are planned and reviewed under Dr. Farooq (BDS, FAGE), who has led the clinic for 26 years. Cleaning, fillings or extractions needed along the way are done in the same clinic, by the same team.
Before you start, you’ll know what can realistically be achieved, how long it should take and what it involves. If braces aren’t the right answer for you, we’ll say so.

No. Adults can have orthodontic treatment too. Healthy gums and bone matter more than age. Treatment may take a little longer in adults.
An early check around age 7–10 helps spot problems with jaw growth or crowding. Most braces are fitted once the adult teeth have come through, usually from about 11–14.
Fitting doesn’t hurt. Teeth usually feel tender for a few days afterwards and after each adjustment. That’s normal and settles on its own.
It depends on the problem. Fixed braces handle the widest range of cases. Aligners suit milder problems and need discipline, since they must be worn about 20–22 hours a day. We’ll recommend what fits your teeth.
They can, which is why retainers matter. Wearing your retainer as advised keeps the result.
We don’t publish price lists, because cost depends on the problem, the type of treatment and how long it takes. You’ll get a clear quote after your assessment, and the consultation is free when you go ahead with treatment.
